A little over twenty days away from the official home opener on November 13th! Basketball season is officially here. The team has been picked, and the players are ready to go. This year, unlike the past couple of years, there will be Midnight Madness to celebrate the kick off of both the Men's and Women's basketball teams on October 28th at 10 pm until midnight. Normally, Midnight Madness is on the first night NCAA basketball teams are allowed to practice, October 15th, but Trinity is making it two weeks later as a Halloween event as well. Students are supposed to come dressed in costumes as there will be a costume contest along with other events.

Some events that are going to happen at Midnight Madness this year will be a dunk contest, performances from Trinity's Loon-E-crew and cheerleading squad, and music. There will even be a student vs. faculty game, which anyone can participate in, and even a dance routine from both Men's and Women's basketball teams. This light hearted, fun night will be all about the fans and getting them into the season to support both squads as they get ready for November 13th to come around.
